Rogue Skills in The Rogue is a set of Skills that players can spend points in to upgrade their character's abilities. The following are a list of skills available in the Rogue tree. The Rogue Combat stance makes use of the Rogue Skills and requires agility, dodging and controlling the pace of combat with the nail-gun and dagger. This style is arguably the best at inflicting damage to enemies, as well as being able to concentrate damage on key/wounded enemies to drop them as fast as possible if you have Locked On to the relevant target. This unfortunately goes both ways; gun-wielding enemies tend to be the most dangerous for you since they can inflict a lot of damage on you very suddenly from quite a distance away, so you will want to focus on killing them first in any fight.
Rogue Skills
The default Rogue skills are as follows:

Slash | Slicing dagger attack. |
Thrust | Dagger thrust that has a 35% chance of poisoning the opponent. |
Veteran Thief | Lets you use daggers and guns. |
Shoot | Quick gun shot. |
Roll | Roll quickly backwards or in the chosen direction while avoiding attacks and shots. |
Rogue Skills Upgrades
The following tables are individual branches on the skill tree in order of when it is unlocked.

Upgraded Slash | Gives you a 35% chance of dodging blows and shots during this attack. |
Passive Skill | Increases damage caused by daggers by 10% |
Passive Skill | Increases the chance of making a critical hit with daggers by 8%. |
Passive Skill | Increases the damage done by all dagger and gun attacks from behind by 20%. |
Passive Skill | Increases the chance of a critical hit from dagger and gun attacks from behind by 5%. |
Focus | Gives you a 35% chance of dodging attacks and slows enemies down for 10s. |

Explosive Shot | Powerful area shot that disrupts and may knock out opponents within close range. Greatly increases overheating. |
Passive Skill | Increases the chance of disrupting opponents with shots by 25%. |

Upgraded Roll | In the event of a critical dodge (at the last moment), the next dagger attack is automatically critical. (Requires Passive Skill in Upgraded Shoot branch) |
